Deficiency or loss of limbs is bound to human history. From the beginning of the human race, prosthetics solutions have been researched for amputations. With the mutilation of the lower limb, walking, one of the most important functions in the human being is lost. The main object of surgical amputation is not only to save the life, but also to create a new organ, the stump, in order to adapt a prosthetic limb, so that the patient is able to walk again. Most prostheses in the past have been lost like useless objects. Some models that have been saved for the clinical practice, allow us to present the biggest advances in prosthetic technique evolution in last time.
