To compare patient's pain and surgeon's comfort during ECCE performed under retrobulbar anesthesia and phacoemulsification under topical anesthesia.
120 patients scheduled for planned routine cataract extraction were divided in 2 groups: group 1-60 eyes, ECCE under retrobulbar anesthesia and group II-60 eyes, phacoemulsification under topical anesthesia. Immediately after operation patients were asked, to answer questions about their feeling during surgery. Simultaneously, the surgeon filled up the questionnaire, concerning patients behavior during the entire procedure.
Statistically significant higher level of pain was reported in group I (ECCE). The most painful moment of the procedure was retrobulbar injection. During surgery pain feeling in both groups was similar. Both types of anesthesia provided very good level of surgeon's comfort. The longer operation, the higher level of pain and lower surgeon's comfort were reported in both groups.
Patients having ECCE performed under retrobulbar anesthesia reported more pain comparing to phacoemulsification under topical anesthesia. Both anesthesia methods provided high level of surgeon's comfort.
比较球后麻醉下白内障囊外摘除术（ECCE）与表面麻醉下超声乳化白内障吸除术期间患者的疼痛情况及术者的舒适度。
将120例计划行常规白内障摘除术的患者分为两组：第一组60眼，行球后麻醉下的ECCE；第二组60眼，行表面麻醉下的超声乳化白内障吸除术。术后立即询问患者关于其术中感受的问题。同时，术者填写关于整个手术过程中患者表现的问卷。
第一组（ECCE）报告的疼痛水平在统计学上显著更高。手术过程中最疼痛的时刻是球后注射。术中两组的疼痛感受相似。两种麻醉方式均为术者提供了非常好的舒适度。两组中，手术时间越长，报告的疼痛水平越高，术者的舒适度越低。
与表面麻醉下的超声乳化白内障吸除术相比，球后麻醉下进行ECCE的患者报告的疼痛更多。两种麻醉方法均为术者提供了较高的舒适度。
