PURPOSE/METHOD: The present study shows two patients with giant cell arteritis. Both patients showed single isolated cotton-wool spots as the only clinical manifestation.
RESULTS/CONCLUSION: Single cotton-wool spots can be an early ophthalmoscopic finding in giant cell arteritis and can precede an important visual loss.
目的/方法：本研究展示了两名巨细胞动脉炎患者。两名患者均仅表现为单个孤立的棉絮斑作为唯一的临床表现。
结果/结论：单个棉絮斑可能是巨细胞动脉炎早期的眼底镜检查发现，且可能先于严重视力丧失出现。
