A randomized crossover study was carried out to determine the bioavailability of two commercially available brands of ciprofloxacin after oral administration in healthy volunteers. There were no significant differences in the pharmacokinetic parameters that characterize bioavailability between the two brands. It is therefore concluded that there is no bioinequivalence between these ciprofloxacin brands.
