The Skene's duct cyst, which presents as a cystic mass just around the urethral meatus, is a rare congenital abnormality in the female newborn. Following a search of available literature we have been able to find Skene's duct cyst reported in only 10 newborns. Herein we report seven cases of Skene's duct cysts in female neonates that were recorded in a 5-year period (June 1984 through May 1989) among 14,518 female births at the Fatima Hospital. In these cases we found that Skene's duct cysts in the female newborn had characteristic morphological and clinical features helpful for diagnosis without a complete urologic evaluation. Needle aspiration of the cyst content provides diagnostic information as well as therapeutic effect. Treatment consisted of partial excision of the cyst wall and needle aspiration. In the initial two cases we performed partial excision of the cystic wall for the purpose of doing tissue examination and drainage of the cyst, but in the following five cases we carried out only needle aspiration. The results of both were excellent without recurrence.
斯基恩氏腺囊肿表现为尿道口周围的囊性肿物，是女性新生儿中一种罕见的先天性异常。在检索现有文献后，我们仅发现10例关于新生儿斯基恩氏腺囊肿的报道。在此，我们报告在法蒂玛医院1984年6月至1989年5月期间出生的14518名女婴中，5年内记录的7例女性新生儿斯基恩氏腺囊肿病例。在这些病例中，我们发现女性新生儿的斯基恩氏腺囊肿具有有助于诊断的特征性形态和临床特点，无需进行完整的泌尿系统评估。囊肿内容物的针吸活检既提供诊断信息，又有治疗效果。治疗方法包括囊肿壁部分切除和针吸活检。最初的两例病例中，我们进行囊肿壁部分切除以进行组织检查和囊肿引流，但在随后的5例病例中，我们仅进行了针吸活检。两种方法的结果均非常好，无复发情况。
