The effects of mental illness on the quality of life of relatives were assessed with the SF-36 (Short Form-36 Health Survey).
304 relatives of 360 patients answered the SF-36 at hospital admission. The participant's data (age and gender) were randomizedly paired to data records of the German standard population.
Relatives of mentally ill people judged their quality of life, especially their emotional well-being, significantly worse than the standard population. Female relatives estimated themselves as more burdened than male.
By the means of SF-36 we could show that the quality of life in relatives of mentally ill people is clearly reduced especially in regard of social and psychical ranges.
采用SF-36（简明健康状况调查问卷）评估精神疾病对亲属生活质量的影响。
360名患者的304名亲属在患者入院时回答了SF-36问卷。参与者的数据（年龄和性别）被随机与德国标准人群的数据记录进行配对。
精神病患者的亲属认为他们的生活质量，尤其是情绪健康状况，明显比标准人群差。女性亲属认为自己比男性亲属负担更重。
通过SF-36我们可以表明，精神病患者亲属的生活质量明显下降，尤其是在社会和心理方面。
