The curriculum of a group for parents of children with ADHD and its evaluation by the participants are presented.
A questionnaire was sent to the participants and answered anonymously.
With a response rate of 59 %, mainly positive ratings were obtained. Information on the nature of the disorder, on behavioural strategies and the mutual exchange with other parents and the therapists were considered especially helpful.
Information on ADHD, behavioural interventions and the exchange among co-parents contribute substantially to the success of a parent training group.
