Ossification of the ligamentum flavum in the thoracolumbar spine is rare in young adults. We report two cases in 22 year old males who required surgical treatment. The first patient was obese and hyperinsulinaemic. He had a compression myelopathy below T11 due to extensive posterior ossification. The second patient had an osteoid osteoma of the right pedicle of T11 with ossification of the adjacent ligamenta flava. Both patients benefited from surgical decompression of the spine.
胸腰椎黄韧带骨化在年轻成年人中较为罕见。我们报告了两例22岁男性患者，他们均需要接受手术治疗。首例患者肥胖且存在高胰岛素血症。由于广泛的后纵韧带骨化，他在T11以下出现了压迫性脊髓病。第二例患者T11右侧椎弓根有骨样骨瘤，且相邻的黄韧带发生骨化。两名患者均从脊柱手术减压中获益。
