The authors made a short medico-historical review of the development of the Bulgarian neurosurgery from the antiquity till nowadays. As important factors for its development are the progress in the neuroradiology, anaesthesiology and reanimation and especially the invention of the computed tomography and the introducing of the microneurosurgery. Significant part of the review is dedicated to Prof. Philip Philipov, founder and long standing head of the department of neurosurgery at Medical university - Sofia. His great life-work is followed by his pupils, creating a wide neurosurgery system in Bulgaria.
作者对保加利亚神经外科从古至今的发展进行了简短的医学历史回顾。神经放射学、麻醉学和复苏技术的进步，尤其是计算机断层扫描的发明和显微神经外科的引入是其发展的重要因素。回顾的重要部分献给了菲利普·菲利普夫教授，他是索非亚医科大学神经外科系的创始人及长期负责人。他的学生继承了他伟大的毕生事业，在保加利亚创建了一个庞大的神经外科体系。
