Medicinal Chemistry in eastern England--tenth symposium. 22 April 1999, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, UK.

This meeting was organized under the aegis of the Royal Society of Chemistry's (RCS) Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector and is now an annual event. A full-house of 120 delegates representing a broad spectrum of the British pharmaceutical industry and a few visitors from abroad attended to hear lectures from seven invited speakers. The RSC's Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector Award was presented to the team from Zeneca Agrochemicals, represented by Dr John Clough and to Dr Stan Lee of Zeneca UK's Process Research department, responsible for azoxystobin.
