To investigate the epidemiological conditions of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (S. maltophilia) and their origins in intensive care units (ICU).
(1) Antibiotic susceptibility data of S. maltophilia of respiratory wards and surgical ICU(SICU) from 1998 to 1999 were collected. (2) Clinic isolates of S. maltophilia of respiratory ICU(RICU) and SICU from June 1999 to February 2000 were collected, then their homology was analyzed by the method of ERIC-PCR.
(1) Antibiotic susceptibility data showed its antibiotic resistance phenomena were severe. (2) The results of ERIC-PCR showed that there was no significant relationship between the genotype and antibiotic type with S. maltophilia. (3) Multiple subsets were found in RICU. However, only two subsets (A,B) in SICU.
The antibiotic resistance of S. maltophilia was so severe that it was difficult to deal with; in the study on its molecular epidemiology, ERIC-PCR is helpful to homogenous analysis, and it is a simple, quick, efficient and dependent method.
调查嗜麦芽窄食单胞菌在重症监护病房(ICU)的流行病学情况及其来源。
(1)收集1998年至1999年呼吸科病房及外科重症监护病房(SICU)嗜麦芽窄食单胞菌的药敏数据。(2)收集1999年6月至2000年2月呼吸重症监护病房(RICU)和SICU的嗜麦芽窄食单胞菌临床分离株,采用ERIC-PCR方法分析其同源性。
(1)药敏数据显示其耐药现象严重。(2)ERIC-PCR结果显示嗜麦芽窄食单胞菌的基因型与抗生素类型之间无显著相关性。(3)在RICU中发现多个亚群。然而,SICU中仅发现两个亚群(A、B)。
嗜麦芽窄食单胞菌耐药性严重,难以处理;在其分子流行病学研究中,ERIC-PCR有助于同源性分析,是一种简单、快速、高效且可靠的方法。
