PURPOSE
To report a case of retinal phlebitis with cystoid macular edema in both eyes 8 weeks after LASIK.
METHODS
A 30-year-old woman underwent bilateral myopic LASIK. Eight weeks postoperatively, the patient experienced blurred vision in the left and right eyes. Fundus examination showed focal whitish patches in the parafoveal and juxtafoveal areas and lack of foveal reflex in both eyes. A diagnosis of retinal phlebitis with cystoid macular edema was made, which was treated with oral corticosteroids with tapering dose.
RESULTS
Visual acuity returned to normal and the whitish fundus patches decreased in number and size in both eyes.
CONCLUSIONS
Surgeons should be aware of potential risks and retinal complications associated with LASIK.
目的
报告一例准分子激光原位角膜磨镶术（LASIK）后8周双眼发生视网膜静脉炎伴黄斑囊样水肿的病例。
方法
一名30岁女性接受了双眼近视LASIK手术。术后8周，患者双眼出现视力模糊。眼底检查显示双眼黄斑旁和黄斑附近区域有局灶性白色斑块，且中央凹反射消失。诊断为视网膜静脉炎伴黄斑囊样水肿，采用逐渐减量的口服皮质类固醇进行治疗。
结果
双眼视力恢复正常，眼底白色斑块数量减少、大小缩小。
结论
外科医生应意识到LASIK相关的潜在风险和视网膜并发症。
