Abstract
- Quail blastoderm cells isolated from the yolk were preserved in liquid nitrogen. 2. Frozen-thawed blastoderm cells of the quail were viable and survived in vitro. By injecting the frozen-thawed cells into chick embryos, quail-chick chimaeras were produced.
