The epidemiological studies have show dramatic increase and prevalence of end stage renal disease in patients with type 2 diabetes therefore early markers of diabetic nephropathy need to be identified (1). During the treatment of patients at the Clinic of endocrinology, diabetes mellitus and metabolic diseases in Sarajevo, we observed a necessity of application of new markers in assessment of early renal failure. Serum cystatin C level is another marker of renal function. Cystatin C is freely filtered at the level of the glomerulus and virtually all is re-absorbed and metabolized by the proximal tubular cells. Serum cystatin C is a screening test and an early indicator and predictor of the development of renal failure.
To estimate correlation among cystatin C, serum creatinine and albuminuria in diabetes type 2 patients for assessment of early renal failure. Serum cystatin C as a screening test has to be considered in the treatment of diabetes type 2 patients for assessment of early renal failure.
流行病学研究表明,2型糖尿病患者终末期肾病的发病率和患病率急剧上升,因此需要确定糖尿病肾病的早期标志物(1)。在萨拉热窝内分泌、糖尿病和代谢疾病诊所对患者进行治疗期间,我们观察到在评估早期肾衰竭时需要应用新的标志物。血清胱抑素C水平是肾功能的另一个标志物。胱抑素C在肾小球水平自由滤过,几乎全部被近端肾小管细胞重吸收和代谢。血清胱抑素C是一种筛查试验,也是肾衰竭发生的早期指标和预测因子。
评估2型糖尿病患者中胱抑素C、血清肌酐和蛋白尿之间的相关性,以评估早期肾衰竭。在2型糖尿病患者的治疗中,必须将血清胱抑素C作为一种筛查试验来评估早期肾衰竭。
