Extensive studies today support the linkage between optimized social and emotional learning and both ultimate school success and constructive behaviors. Consequently, there is the potential to enhance the quality-of-life experiences for many children who are not currently exposed to programs that have been proven to contribute to social and emotional learning. For this reason, maximal advocacy efforts are warranted to increase the availability of social and emotional learning programs for children.
