In April 2005, the Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS Europe and the Terrence Higgins Trust published a report on the criminalization of HIV transmission in Europe. Based on a rapid scan of the situation, the report provides a snapshot of the laws that crimimalize HIV transmission and exposure in 41 European countries, and of the prosecutions under those laws.
