The issue of atrial fibrillation is covered in the article in detail; the frequency of its individual forms is presented. The systematization of the individual forms of atrial fibrillation, the pathogenesis of its various forms, their reversibility and constancy are given from up-to-date positions. The author adduces a detailed description of modern methods of pharmacotherapy and instrumental therapy.
