[Arthroscopy of the wrist: compared results of MRT and arthrography and outcome in the arthroscopy -- an examination 1998 to 2003].

Between 1998 and 2004, 62 arthroscopies of the wrist were performed in the Vienna Danube Hospital. We examined if preoperative arthrography or magnet resonance tomography showed the same results concerning lesions of the discus ulnocarpalis or the scapholunate ligaments as did the arthroscopy and whether these two examinations are a good preoperative diagnostic instrument.
