An analysis of 135 observations of injuries of the liver and literature data of the recent 5 years (3931 cases) have shown that lethality resulting from trauma of the liver remains high and makes 20-78% of patients with closed injuries. Main causes of death of such patients are shock and blood loss. Optimization of the surgical treatment of injuries of the liver may be achieved by the introduction of reliable sources of hemostasis which are thought to be laser and plasma radiation, and by the development of effective methods of temporary hemostasis.
对135例肝脏损伤病例的分析以及近5年文献资料（3931例）显示，肝脏创伤导致的致死率仍然很高，在闭合性损伤患者中占20% - 78%。这类患者的主要死亡原因是休克和失血。引入被认为是激光和等离子体辐射的可靠止血源以及开发有效的临时止血方法，可能实现肝脏损伤外科治疗的优化。
