A retrospective analysis of causes and outcomes of inflammatory complications in the presacral wound after abdomino-anal resection with bringing down for carcinoma of the rectum has shown active treatment of the wound to be necessary. The fractional lavage with the ozonization and active aspiration is highly estimated as a prophylactic and therapeutic method.
