On the basis of the electrochemical results obtained for thin films of 7,7,8,8- tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) on a glassy carbon electrode, the reduction and oxidation of the TCNQ(-) couple in KCl aqueous media occurs via a mechanism involving layer-by-layer nucleation and growth. In situ recorded UV-visible spectroelectrochemical data allow two different crystal structures for the oxidized form of TCNQ to be discriminated.
基于在玻碳电极上获得的7,7,8,8-四氰基对苯二醌二甲烷(TCNQ)薄膜的电化学结果,在KCl水溶液介质中,TCNQ(-)电对的还原和氧化通过涉及逐层成核和生长的机制发生。原位记录的紫外-可见光谱电化学数据能够区分TCNQ氧化形式的两种不同晶体结构。
