Hidradenitis suppurativa is an inflammatory, chronic and recurrent disease of appocrine glands, located in inguinal, axillar, perineal, perianal areas and scalp.
To determine the frequency and therapeutic management.
A retrospective, transverse, and descriptive study was carried out. All patients with hidradenitis suppurativa, and who were managed by the Coloproctology Unit from the Gastroenterology Service of the General Hospital of Mexico City from January 1995 to December 2004, were included.
We reviewed 12,689 files and identified 15 patients (0.12%) with hidradenitis suppurativa; nine fulfilled inclusion criteria.
This is a complex disease with a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge.
化脓性汗腺炎是一种累及顶泌汗腺的炎症性、慢性复发性疾病，好发于腹股沟、腋窝、会阴、肛周及头皮部位。

开展一项回顾性、横断面描述性研究。纳入1995年1月至2004年12月期间在墨西哥城总医院胃肠病科结直肠病单元接受治疗的所有化脓性汗腺炎患者。
我们查阅了12,689份病历，确诊15例（0.12%）化脓性汗腺炎患者；其中9例符合纳入标准。
这是一种诊断和治疗均具有挑战性的复杂疾病。
