Abstract

Glucocorticoid is effective medicines for the treatment of, such as, collagen diseases, pulmonary diseases, skin diseases, organ transplantation, however, glucocorticoid induced osteoporosis have been a serious problem. Glucocorticoid is not only associated with decreased bone mineral density (BMD), but also with deteriorated bone quality, so osteoporotic fracture can occur even at slightly lower BMD. Recent studies have shown that long-term use of inhaled glucocorticoid at high doses is also associated with increased risk for fracture. Osteoporotic fracture decreases not only the abilities of daily living and the quality of life, but also to increase mortality, so earlier prevention for glucocorticoid induced osteoporosis is necessary at administration of glucocorticoid.

糖皮质激素是治疗诸如胶原病、肺部疾病、皮肤病、器官移植等疾病的有效药物,然而,糖皮质激素诱发的骨质疏松症一直是一个严重问题。糖皮质激素不仅与骨矿物质密度(BMD)降低有关,还与骨质恶化有关,因此即使BMD略低也可能发生骨质疏松性骨折。最近的研究表明,长期高剂量使用吸入性糖皮质激素也与骨折风险增加有关。骨质疏松性骨折不仅会降低日常生活能力和生活质量,还会增加死亡率,因此在使用糖皮质激素时,有必要尽早预防糖皮质激素诱发的骨质疏松症。
