Continuing professional education (CPE) is a very significant activity nurses should undertake. With the continuous change in medical knowledge and skills as well as the rapid technological advancement in the nursing profession, CPE is imperative. A descriptive-correlational type of study was conducted to examine status of CPE, assess needs for CPE, examine relationship between personal and professional characteristics of nurses and CPE, and propose a new CPE. Based on the findings, eight recommendations were offered.
继续职业教育（CPE）是护士应该开展的一项非常重要的活动。随着医学知识和技能的不断变化以及护理专业技术的快速进步，继续职业教育势在必行。本研究采用描述性相关研究类型，以检查继续职业教育的现状，评估继续职业教育的需求，研究护士的个人和专业特征与继续职业教育之间的关系，并提出一种新的继续职业教育模式。基于研究结果，提出了八项建议。
