A new epimeric lupane triterpenoid, 3alpha-hydroxy-20-oxo-30-norlupane (1), and a new flavanone (nubatin; 3) have been isolated from Salvia nubicola collected from Quetta, Pakistan. The structures of these constituents were elucidated with the aid of spectroscopic techniques, including two-dimensional NMR and NOE experiments. Both the metabolites were found to be moderately bio-active.
从采自巴基斯坦奎达的云雾鼠尾草中分离出了一种新的差向异构羽扇烷三萜类化合物，3α-羟基-20-氧代-30-降羽扇烷（1）和一种新的黄烷酮（努巴亭；3）。借助包括二维核磁共振和核Overhauser效应（NOE）实验在内的光谱技术阐明了这些成分的结构。发现这两种代谢产物都具有中等生物活性。
