This article derived from a research work aiming at analyzing concepts of motherhood and child care in a group of mothers of children participating in Pra-Nenê Program, in Vila Cruzeiro do Sul, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 2002. It aims at analyzing, the concepts. of motherhood expressed by mothers, nurses, and official documents which guide that program, and how these were related to each other. Results show the existence of a conflict between concepts of motherhood and child care of the group of mothers and those present in the program text and in the educational practices developed by nurses.
本文源自一项研究工作，该研究旨在分析2002年在巴西南里奥格兰德州阿雷格里港南克鲁塞罗镇参与普拉-内内项目的一群孩子的母亲们对于母亲身份和儿童照料的观念。其目的在于分析母亲们、护士以及指导该项目的官方文件所表达的母亲身份观念，以及这些观念彼此之间是如何关联的。结果表明，这群母亲对于母亲身份和儿童照料的观念与项目文本及护士开展的教育实践中所体现的观念之间存在冲突。
