PURPOSE
The aim of this work was to determine the effect of sodium fluoride at a dose of 4.9 mg/kg b.w./24 h and caffeine at a dose of 3 mg/kg b.w./24 h on the concentration of fluoride in serum and its content in teeth and bones of rats.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
The study was done in 18 male Sprague-Dawley rats.
CONCLUSIONS
A negative effect of caffeine administered concurrently with sodium fluoride on teeth and bones of rats was demonstrated as reflected by a tendency to increased content of fluoride in bones and decreased content in teeth.
目的
本研究旨在确定剂量为4.9毫克/千克体重/24小时的氟化钠和剂量为3毫克/千克体重/24小时的咖啡因对大鼠血清氟浓度及其牙齿和骨骼中氟含量的影响。
材料与方法
该研究在18只雄性斯普拉格-道利大鼠身上进行。
结论
与氟化钠同时给予咖啡因对大鼠牙齿和骨骼有负面影响，表现为骨骼中氟含量有增加趋势，而牙齿中氟含量降低。
