[Spinal metastases of differentiated thyroid cancers. Disease picture, diagnosis, therapy].

Thyroid malignancy should be ruled out, whenever an osteolytic lesion in the spine is detected. In the presence of a single bone lesion, surgical procedure should be the treatment of choice. Even if these patients will not be "tumour-free" after the orthopedic correction they can live without pain and no mobility problem.
