Vitrification is a fairly well-established technique for cryopreservation of human zona-intact blastocysts. However, little is known about the efficacy of the vitrification technique for zona-free hatched blastocysts.
A total of 4 hatched blastocysts from 4 healthy, infertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization were vitrified and warmed. All 4 hatched blastocysts expanded after warming and were transferred to 4 patients. Three of the women became clinically pregnant. Two healthy infants were born in 2 deliveries, and 1 pregnancy had progressed to 35 weeks at this writing.
Our results suggest that vitrification is a useful cryopreservation technique not only for zona-intact blastocysts but also for zona-free hatched blastocysts.
玻璃化冷冻是一种成熟的人类完整透明带囊胚冷冻保存技术。然而,对于无透明带孵化囊胚的玻璃化冷冻技术效果知之甚少。
对4例接受体外受精的健康不孕妇女的4枚孵化囊胚进行玻璃化冷冻及解冻。4枚孵化囊胚解冻后均膨胀,并移植给4例患者。其中3例妇女临床妊娠。2次分娩中诞下2名健康婴儿,截至撰写本文时,1例妊娠已进展至35周。
我们的结果表明,玻璃化冷冻不仅是一种用于完整透明带囊胚的有用冷冻保存技术,也是用于无透明带孵化囊胚的有用技术。
