[Sequences homologous to the suffix from the Drosophila melanogaster genome in the DNA of other organisms].

Sequences homologous to the suffix repeat involved in 3'maturation of many Drosophila melanogaster genes have been searched in various organisms by molecular hybridization technique. Several species from evolutionary close and distant to Drosophila melanogaster taxons have been found to contain homology with the suffix in their genomes.
