BACKGROUND
Damage of the internal carotid artery (ICA) is very rare but can be a dramatic complication of endonasal sinus surgery. In the literature only a few cases are reported, some of them with fatal results.
METHODS
We present two cases with massive bleeding of the ICA caused by endonasal sinus surgery.
RESULTS
In both cases bleeding could be stopped sufficiently by implanting a stentgraft.
CONCLUSION
The lumen of the artery could be preserved and no neurological deficits were observed.
背景
颈内动脉（ICA）损伤非常罕见，但可能是鼻内镜鼻窦手术的严重并发症。文献中仅报道了少数病例，其中一些导致了致命后果。
方法
我们呈现两例因鼻内镜鼻窦手术导致颈内动脉大量出血的病例。
结果
在这两例病例中，通过植入覆膜支架均成功充分止血。
结论
动脉管腔得以保留，未观察到神经功能缺损。
