To review the current development of the dynamic stabilization devices and their biomechanics as well as clinical application.
The related biomedical research papers at home and abroad were consulted and analyzed.
There were obvious advances in the theoretic foundation and the clinical application in treatment of the degenerative lumbar disorders with the dynamic stabilization devices, especially with the non-fusion dynamic stabilization devices.
The effectiveness of the dynamic stabilization devices have attracted more and more biomedical researchers, especially the posterior dynamic stabilization device, which has provided a new approach to treatment of the degenerative lumbar disorders.
