Lipopolysaccharides of Hafnia alvei strains 1, 17, 31, 32, 38 and 39 indicate strong cross-reactivity in passive hemagglutination. All lipopolysaccharides were examined by rocket immunoelectrophoresis, sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and immunoblotting.
