Abstract
According to recent data, limbic brain structure (hippocampus) may be important target for the action of different groups of cognitive enhancers (nootropic drugs). Their specific influence on the cognitive processes is correlated with the normalization of metabolic and morphological disturbances in hippocampal neurons.
