In the years 1976-1989 392 nests of D. urbica and 584 nests of H. rustica were collected from 54 localities in 6 Provinces in the north of Poland. The highest mean number of specimens per nest was observed in the nest of D. urbica (28.4) and the lowest in nest of H. rustica (4.2). The highest percentage of nests of the swallows with Oe. hirundinis was recorded in December and lowest in March. The highest mean number of Oe. hirundinis per nest was in the nest of D. urbica in August and lowest in February, and in the nest of H. rustica--in September and in March respectively.
1976年至1989年期间，从波兰北部6个省份的54个地点收集了392个家燕巢穴和584个普通楼燕巢穴。每个巢穴中观察到的标本平均数量最高的是家燕巢穴（28.4个），最低的是普通楼燕巢穴（4.2个）。感染燕鸟圆线虫的燕子巢穴的最高百分比记录在12月，最低在3月。每个巢穴中燕鸟圆线虫的平均数量最高的情况是，家燕巢穴在8月，普通楼燕巢穴分别在9月和3月，最低的情况是，家燕巢穴在2月，普通楼燕巢穴在3月。
