Digital infrared and ultraviolet imaging. Part 1: infrared.

The authors reviewed and tested a range of filters, light sources, cameras and lenses for their use in undertaking infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) imaging in the digital workflow. In Part 1 the authors report on their findings with respect to undertaking IR imaging. Part 2 will cover UV imaging, and Part 3 will report on some clinical applications of digital IR and UV imaging using the tested equipment.
