Facial blanching caused by superpotent corticosteroids.

We present a case of the topical application of a superpotent corticosteroid lotion to the scalp and sideburn area that resulted in facial blanching beyond the site of application. This case demonstrates the need for prudent use of superpotent corticosteroid lotion on the scalp and sideburn area to avoid potential adverse effects.
