BACKGROUND
A 57-year-old woman who received treatment with mantle irradiation and systemic chemotherapy for Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed at the age of 42 underwent screening mammography, which revealed abnormal density at the upper outer quadrant of the left breast.
INVESTIGATIONS
Left breast ultrasound and MRI, ultrasound-guided biopsy, immunohistochemistry, chest X-ray.
DIAGNOSIS
Stage T1bN0M0 left breast cancer.
MANAGEMENT
Lumpectomy, sentinel lymph-node biopsy and fractionated partial breast irradiation using 3-dimensional conformal technique.
