These issues may arise as a result of damage incurred to the motor and sensory autonomic nerve supply, both of sympathetic and parasympathetic origin, that innervate the uterus, vagina, urinary bladder, and rectum. In this article, we demonstrate a nerve-sparing radical hysterectomy using illustrations and step-by-step instructions.
