Abstract
The analysis of mixtures of dithionite, thiosulphate and sulphite in the presence of cyanide and/or in alkaline solution has been investigated. The effects of such constituents as sulphur, acetonitrile, hexafluoroarsenate, and bromide in alkaline solution were also examined. Satisfactory results were obtained by using low-temperature, oxygen-free, alkaline solutions, containing excess of alkali, at pH > 12.
