BACKGROUND
Behçet's disease (BD) is a multisytemic vasculitis characterized by oral and genital ulceration, other skin lesions, uveitis and manifestations affecting the blood vessels, CNS and gastrointestinal system. It is rare in the Western world but is frequent in the Middle and Far East.
OBJECTIVE
The aim of this review is to discuss treatment strategies in BD. These might vary between simple reassurance and a combination of immunosuppressives.
METHODS
A systematic literature search was done using the Cochrane and Medline databases in June 2008. The EULAR recommendations for the management of BD were also taken into account.
CONCLUSION
The last two decades have witnessed considerable improvement in eye disease and musculoskeletal involvement. However, the treatment of thrombophlebitis, CNS, and gastrointestinal manifestations remains problematic.

白塞病（BD）是一种多系统血管炎，其特征为口腔和生殖器溃疡、其他皮肤损害、葡萄膜炎以及影响血管、中枢神经系统和胃肠道系统的表现。该病在西方世界较为罕见，但在中东和远东地区较为常见。
目的
本综述旨在探讨白塞病的治疗策略。这些策略可能从单纯的安慰到免疫抑制剂的联合使用不等。
方法
2008年6月使用Cochrane和Medline数据库进行了系统的文献检索。还考虑了欧洲抗风湿病联盟（EULAR）关于白塞病管理的建议。
结论
过去二十年中，眼部疾病和肌肉骨骼受累情况有了显著改善。然而，血栓性静脉炎、中枢神经系统和胃肠道表现的治疗仍然存在问题。
