To date only 9 culture-proven cases of herpes simplex virus Type 2 meningitis have been recorded. Presented here is the 10th case with a review of the literature. Although generally a benign disease, its recognition in association with herpes progenitalis must be appreciated to avoid confusion in the treatment of this common veneral disease.
迄今为止，仅记录到9例经培养证实的2型单纯疱疹病毒脑膜炎病例。本文介绍第10例病例并对文献进行综述。尽管该病通常为良性疾病，但必须认识到其与生殖器疱疹的关联，以免在治疗这种常见性病时产生混淆。
