The nasal airway resistance (NAR) was determined in 739 normal children and 20 patients with enlarged adenoids by means of anterior rhinomanometry. It was demonstrated that the normal value of NAR in children ranged between 1.96 and 5.26 cmH2O.s/L (1 cmH2O = 0.098 kPa) with extensive distributions and great inter-personal variations. There was no significant difference of NAR between male and female in different age groups (P greater than 0.05). Adenoidal proliferation played an important role in determining the pediatric NAR. The NAR changes may be closely related to anatomical and physiological changes occurring in the nose with growing.
通过前鼻测压法对739名正常儿童和20例腺样体肥大患者进行了鼻气道阻力(NAR)测定。结果表明,儿童NAR的正常值范围在1.96至5.26 cmH₂O·s/L之间(1 cmH₂O = 0.098 kPa),分布广泛且个体差异较大。不同年龄组的男女性别之间NAR无显著差异(P>0.05)。腺样体增生在决定儿童NAR方面起重要作用。NAR的变化可能与随着生长鼻子发生的解剖和生理变化密切相关。
