A model for a children's dental health carnival.

A children's dental health carnival can yield many benefits. Some of these are: The general public becomes better informed regarding the importance of dentistry for children; children are presented with preventive-dentistry information in an entertaining environment; and students gain experience in organizing and participating in a community service project. The Children's Dental Health Carnivals have provided the children of Lincoln, Nebraska and the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry with these benefits.
