Abstract

A total of 141 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma were examined by selective celiac and hepatic arteriography. In 7 the so-called "thread and streaks" sign or its equivalent was observed along the vertebral column at the level of the diaphragm where the hepatic veins enter the inferior vena cava. Extensive tumor growth in the hepatic vein and invading the vena cava was confirmed by autopsy in 3 and hepatic venography in 1.

对141例肝细胞癌患者进行了选择性腹腔动脉和肝动脉造影检查。其中7例在肝静脉汇入下腔静脉的膈肌水平处,沿脊柱观察到所谓的“线状条纹”征或其类似表现。3例经尸检、1例经肝静脉造影证实肝静脉内有广泛肿瘤生长并侵犯下腔静脉。
