Adapting supervision strategies to meet the challenges of future mental health nursing practice.

This paper discusses the need for a more appropriate supervision model in mental health nursing. It is argued that practitioners and educationalists should reconsider the nature of professional knowledge, and develop strategies suitable for the casework approach adopted by many mental health branches in Project 2000.
