Abstract
In January 2007, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice convicted Suwalee Iamkhong, originally from Thailand, of criminal negligence causing bodily harm and aggravated assault for failing to disclose her HIV status before having unprotected sex with her husband. On 16 August 2007, she was sentenced to two years on each count, to be served concurrently.
