Emergency surgery has become a neglected specialization in Europe and in many other parts of the world. In certain medical fields, emergency surgery isn't even considered an autonomous specialization. However every emergency surgeon must have a good formation in General Surgery but exist huge disparities between different European surgical formative systems.
An analysis of the main problems of the European surgical formative system was conducted.
This discrepancy between formative systems is absolutely unacceptable and presents a notable hazard for the European Union, considering that surgical certifications are reciprocally recognized between programs within all European Union states.
Considering the increasing possibilities to move inside the European Union, is necessary to improve the European surgical formative system to warrant an uniform formation for all surgeons.
在欧洲和世界上许多其他地区，急诊外科已经成为一个被忽视的专业。在某些医学领域，急诊外科甚至不被认为是一个自主的专业。然而，每一位急诊外科医生都必须有良好的普通外科基础，但不同的欧洲外科培训系统之间存在着巨大的差异。
对欧洲外科培训系统的主要问题进行了分析。
这种培训系统之间的差异是绝对不可接受的，对欧盟构成了显著的危险，因为欧盟所有成员国的项目之间的外科认证是相互承认的。
考虑到在欧盟内部流动的可能性越来越大，有必要改进欧洲外科培训系统，以确保所有外科医生都有统一的培训。
