We report on an adult patient who underwent surgery for Wilms' tumor or nephroblastoma with a prolonged survival. At 13 years post-operatively, the patient is alive and disease-free, a father of two children, and has an active working and social life. Recent blood analyses, chest X-ray and abdominal ultrasound scan were unremarkable. We reviewed the cases of Wilms' tumor reported in the world literature highlighting the survivorship reported by some of the authors. To our knowledge, of the adult patients reported with this malignant tumor type, ours has the longest survival.
我们报告了一例接受威姆氏瘤（肾母细胞瘤）手术且存活期延长的成年患者。术后13年，该患者仍存活且无疾病，已是两个孩子的父亲，有着积极的工作和社交生活。近期的血液分析、胸部X光和腹部超声扫描均无异常。我们回顾了世界文献中报道的威姆氏瘤病例，突出了部分作者所报告的存活率。据我们所知，在已报道的患有这种恶性肿瘤类型的成年患者中，我们的患者存活时间最长。
