Abstract

Otoacoustic emissions constitute a sensitive non-invasive means of auditory exploration of outer hair cells (organ of Corti). The aim of this paper is to situate this method among others in the context of auditory exploration in children, and as regards the future of the exploration of the medial olivocochlear system.
